18-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed By Car In Bethesda

An 18-year-old bicyclist was killed after being struck by a car in Bethesda this week, reports NBC Washington.

The cyclist was struck on Old Georgetown Road near the Wildwood Shopping Center after apparently cycling into the roadway for unknown reasons around 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, the outlet reports.

The driver was cooperating with police.
